ReplyDeleteAt that time, the Mongolian soldiers are very poweful. The king who named Qin want to built a huge wall to resist the enemy and protect his country forever. So did't that. But he never knew that time changes.The guns, missiles and airplane be invented. In the end, he fail and died. but this wall will be always here. It became one of the world civilized monuments.

ReplyDeleteI didn't know more Moon Festival in China. Maybe you mean the Middle Autumn Festival, That is a good Festival which is eating the moon cakes in Middle Autumn Day. On that day night, people sit together in the garden. we see the Moon, and eat the moon cakes. Long time ago the Moon cakes' kinds is very simple. it may has just three different taste. For example: apple, banana, pineapple and chinese date and so on. But now, you can have a lot of choice. Maybe chocolate also meat. Middle Autumn day means missing your connection who are in distant place. Why they see the moon? Because in ancient, people don't have cell phone when the day comes, people see the moon to miss his connection, because the place changed but the moon not. when the people see the moon,in the same time his connection may see the moon too. China has a very famous poem - give eyes to the moon, bow their heads and think of home.

ReplyDeleteThe Mid-Autumn Festival is one of the most important festivals in China. According to the Chinese lunar calendar, the 15th day of the 8th month is the exact middle of autumn.Therefore it is called the Mid-Autumn Festival or Moon Festival.
On that night, the moon appears to be at its roundest and brightest. The full moon is a symbol for family reunion, which is why the day is also known as the Festival of Reunion. So families gather together to eat moon cakes, drink the tea,appreciate the round moon and chat happily.
That is the meaning of our Mid-Autumn Festival.
And I wish i knew more about the Halloween in America. What is the meaning of this Festival? How do people celebrate it?

ReplyDeleteEid Alfiter and Eid Aladha are the most important days for all the muslims ,but we have another day in Saudi Arabia it's national day of Saudi Arabia .
ReplyDeleteIn china, on augest15th.There is a traditional festival,the chinaese name is “ZhongQiuJie", which is also known as the Mid-Autumn Festival,is the time the moon is biggest and bright.At that day，people get together and enjoy the moon. The parents always prepare the moon cakes and tea to welcome their family members. At this time, adults will talk with each other and the child will play with other child.

ReplyDeleteI'll tell you about one Venezuelan festival called "Los Diablos Danzantes de Yare (Dancing Devils of Yare)". Every Corpus Christi, in the state Miranda (Venezuela), people thanks to his holy San Francisco of Paola with a special dance. This people dress as devils and start to dance around the principal square of the town. It is a striking ritual because his are dressed in red with impressive masks and dancing to the rhythm of the one special music. The entire performance represents the victory of Good over Evil.

ReplyDeleteWowww Yener what a question!!! I don't know jejejeje... Is not just for South-American people, is as a whole Latin American. On one hand, I think "Latino" is a commun word but it is not correct. The correct term is "Hispanic". Latino come from the latin origen of the language, if this is correct Italians are "Latinos" too, for example. On the other hand, a lot of people think that "Latinos" mean "sangre caliente" (blood hot) because some countries come from the Tropico. I like it, but it is not exactly the truth. The problem with the term "Hispanic" is Brasil, they speak Portuguese, they are South-Americams... So I don't know exactly why they call us "Latinos", but its Ok for us.

In my country there is the same king of festival it's call culture festival and in this day each group ethnic wears their tradition clothes with symbolic make up they show their tradition dance with special music. in my country each group has its language and tradition even its foods that is why in this day we share and learn about each group
ReplyDeleteI'll talk about important festival in Saudi Arabia.First of all,we have two the first one called'Eid Alfitr" the second is "Eid Aladha.They are similar in events and preparation.We also should give money or food to poor people to feel happy these days.We start preparations with anew clothes,buy firework and gifts.Early in the morning we meet the whole family and we take photos. We drink Arabic coffe together with different kind of desert.We spend nice time for at least 3 days .There are many guests visiting us also we visit our friends.There are alot of firework at the night in every where.Inother words it will be acelebration in every home.My favorite part is the gift and going to city games.I usually go to there in normal days but in Eid I thinkit looks diffrent. I really miss those days, metting of my family and children's laughter everywhere.
ReplyDeleteIn my country Kingdom Of Saudi Arabia, we have a great large cultural festival every year since 1985, it's called(ALJNADRYAH), what is great in this festival, that every year we have a one guest county from all over the world to share there culture with us, the main idea of ( ALJNADRYAH) is to show the special food, cloths, dance, Handcrafts for each part of my large country, in addition to huge Operetta concert by the most Famous Singers in saudi arabia.
